How long can I store my cupcakes for?
There are no added preservatives in our recipes. Therefore, your cakes will be best eaten as fresh as possible. We will only ever sell you cake baked especially for today. Stored correctly, your cupcakes will stay fresh for a couple of days. Because of their small size, babycakes are best eaten on the day of purchase.
Should I put my cupcakes in the fridge?
Cupcakes with cream cheese frosting, custard filling or mascarpone centre may be stored at room temperature for up to 2 hours and then must be refrigerated. If not stored in the fridge, these products must be eaten within 4 hours. All other cakes may and should be stored at room temperature. An airtight container will keep your cupcakes fresher for longer. Your order will be stored safely until collection.
How should I transport my cupcakes?
Cupcakes are delicate and require careful handling. We will always ensure your cupcakes are in their best condition when they leave our store. To keep your cupcakes looking smart, boxes must be kept flat at all times. Even small bumps will dislodge the cakes from their holders. We do not recommend carrying your boxes in a bag. Boxes are safest held by the edges and should not be stacked more than 2 boxes high.
What about allergies?
Our cupcake kitchen handles nuts, gluten, soy and dairy products. While every effort is made to prevent cross-contamination, all of our cakes are baked using the same equipment and, therefore, may contain traces of nuts, gluten, soy and dairy products.
All of our cakes are vegetarian. Some of our cakes contain alcohol. If you have any specific dietary requirements or concerns about the ingredients used in our baking please contact our staff by phone or email.
